Made by Under Armour, from 87% nylon and 13% elastane, the Wales 2012/13 Alternate Test Rugby Shirt is the one as worn by the players and was released to coincide with the 2011 Rugby World Cup.

Built to answer all comfort and durability requirements, this shirt is the lightest and strongest in Welsh history utilising Armour Grid technology. Full of innovations to enhance player control and performance, this shirt features moisture wicking technology fabrics, strategically placed ventilation and a customised grip application. It is also specifically designed to be tight fitting so as to avoid pulled back by opponents.

An imposing black design features touches of red under the arms and around the collar. The embroidered Wales RFU badge and Under Armour logo are embroidered onto the chest whilst the Admiral sponsor is printed across the centre of the chest.

As an added touch, inside the collar the wording “Cymeriad” is written, which translates as Character.
